The 2025 Suburban will continue to offer a standard 5.3-liter V8 with 355 horsepower along with an available 6.2-liter V8 with 420 horsepower. The 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel has elevated its game with 305 horsepower vs. 277 horsepower for 2024. All three engines will be teamed up with a 10-speed automatic transmission and either rear- or all-wheel drive. The maximum towing capacity in the 2025 Suburban with the more powerful V8 engine will be 8300 pounds.

The new 2025 Suburban can be equipped with special adaptive dampers and an adjustable air suspension system that's capable of being automatically lowered or raised. That improves the aerodynamics, passenger accessibility and ground clearance and it's also available with 2024 models.
